Tahoe Helping Hands, Inc. is a non-profit organization focusing primarily on women who have been diagnosed and/or disabled by a terminal, long or short term illness; such as MS, Lupus, Breast Cancer, Fibromyaglia, Diabetes and Heart Disease, just to name a few. Tahoe Helping Hands, Inc. provides 3-5 day retreats at a facility located one block from the crystal clear, blue waters of South Lake Tahoe, Ca. In the early stages, these diseases are "invisible". But the diagnosed and the primary caregiver definitely know they are apart of their everyday lives. These individuals appear to be just fine but in truth are facing daily challenges. As these diseases progress they become more obvious, more visable, more disabling. In order to accomodate those with advanced challenges, we are working towards making our entire facility wheelchair accessable.

Tahoe Helping Hands takes an entirely unique approach to helping the handicapped and disabled by involving family, friends and caregivers as well. In this way, a greater understanding is reached by all who are touched by diseases and disabilities. Tahoe Helping Hands, Inc is not a medical facility, but a place where all who visit are touched by the natural beauty of the lake, the nurturing environment of Hollys Place, and the understanding of others with special needs and the people who love them.
